2354817 - How to Find SuccessFactors Product Version, Server, Timestamp and Release Details

Symptom

  • Customers need to find the product version they are running;
  • SuccessFactors Support team has requested the timestamp when an issue occurs;

Resolution

To find the SuccessFactors product version, timestamp and server, please follow the below instructions:

  1. From the Homepage, click on your Profile icon on the top right side of your screen:
    Show_Information.png
  2. Select "Show version information";
  3. A pop-up window opens with the below information:

Important notes:

  • Server details are often required when reporting incidents for defects;
  • For the Release an example is 2411p23e.20250330063443

        2411 stands for the major release on which the SuccessFactors is running on i.e. in this case, the major release is of November 2024 (2H release of 2024) and "20250330063443" year/month/date/hour/min/sec of the current release i.e 2025(year)03(month)30(date)06(hour)34(Min)43(sec) and this part is the current build on which the SuccessFactors is running. 
        SuccessFactors builds get small bug fixes and performance improvements with the builds; however, regarding deployment/enablement of any new feature happens only in the major release which gets deployed twice in the year. First is the 1H release which happens in the month of April for Preview instances and in the month of May for Production instances and second is the 2H release which happens in the month of October for Preview instances and in the month of November for Production instances.

Please still open a ticket with the Recruiting Marketing team under the component LOD-SF-RMK and include the date and symptoms and the general timeframe of when this issue is occurring.
