Symptom

  1. While proxy as or login as himself, Customer or Manager cannot access to Document generation in Tool search
  2.  All Manager  assigned with Permission Role Manager unable to see Document generation in Tool search

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Proxy as or Login as himself, Customer or Manager
  2. Go to Admin Tool then type  Document generation in Tool search
  3. Result : Customer or Manager cannot access to Document generation in Tool search

Cause

 

Review RBP-Role Based Permission

Example: Manager Role with target Population

 Review  RBP for MDF- Metadata Framework

Issue:  Metadata Framework Permission "Read/Write Permission on Metadata Framework" is disabled

Resolution

 

  1. Navigate to the Admin Center.
  2. In the Tools search field, type Set User Permissions then Manage Permission Roles
  3. In the list of permission roles, click the role for which you wish to give access to use MDF. Example: see Screenshot below.
  4. On the Permission Role Detail screen, in the Permission Settings section,
  5. From Permission Settings, click Metadata Framework
  6. Click the Select "Read/Write Permission on Metadata Framework
  7. Save and exit.
