2335753 - Remove 'To Do' menu from Home Page

Symptom

In SuccessFactors, you can remove tiles from the Home Page so users do not have access to specific data

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Cloud
  • Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into the SuccessFactors applications
  2. Navigate to the Home Page
  3. Select a Tile on the Home Page and there is no option to remove

Resolution

In order to customize the Home Page in the SuccessFactors application, the user needs access to the Admin Center tool 'Manage Home Page' (permissions can be set via Manage Permission Roles) and follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Home Page
  2. The 'Default' tab displays the list of Tiles that are currently available on the Home Page. The 'Available' tab shows a list of available Tiles that are not included in the default view of the Home Page, however are available for users to add from the Tile Browser library. The 'Not Used' tab displays a list of Tiles that are not to be used on the Home Page and will not show up in the library.
  3. To remove a Tile from the Home Page, for example the 'To Do' tile, select the gear icon under the Active Dates column and choose 'Move to Not Used', this will remove the Tile as well as not make it available for users to select in the Tile Browser library
