Build Your CardView

After importing your data, tap the "Continue" button to build your dashboard.




To create your dashboard, first tap on an empty block to designate an area to place a chart or other data visualization type.




When creating a new dashboard object, you have the option to create:

    • Table: Table, Data Bars, Single Value
    • Chart: Column, Combo, Stacked Column, Area, Line, Pie, Comparison, Scatter, Bubble

Once you tap on the appropriate Table/Chart, it will appear on the Card.  For this example we will create a Column chart.




Tap once on the Column Chart to reveal the Edit/Delete/Chart options.  From here, tap on Edit.  This will open the Chart Editor.

Tap on the Plus (+) to select your Measure/Member.




For this example we will choose Measure.  Choose "Sales" and "Sales Target" as your measures and set your Category

Dimension as "Period".  Once you have added those fields, tap Done.




The column chart will now appear on your dashboard.  Tap on Info (i) to edit the title.

The Filter Dimension enables you to select a particular filter dimension if desired.  There are two ways to filter the data:

  1. Clicking on Filter Dimension abover the chart blocks
  2. Clicking on the filter icon top right corner, which is a report filter






After configuring the visualization objects, you can resize them to a particular dimension.  When you tap on the object, resize arrows will appear.




Additional dashboard pages are available when you exceed the initial 6 blocks or equivalend space.  To get to the additional pages,

tap in the space between visualization blocks and drag up.




Tap Done in top left corner to return to the Configure Your View screen.  You can now Publish your Card view.




Card View Limitations 

Source File Structure

Source report data must be organized in a flat, table format.


Column based charts have a maximum of 60 columns (ex. 1 series with 60 data points or 10 series with 6 data points each) and a maximum of 10 series.

Line/Area charts have a maximum of 400 data points and 10 series.

Pie charts have a maximum of 10 slices.
