Symptom

Email notifications are not being received by Disqualified Candidates

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to recruiting tab navigate to candidate list on requisition
  2. Move Candidate to disqualify status
  3. Go to admin tools- Manage recruiting settings  and check to see if delay email for disqualified candidates is enabled
  4. Check and confirm that job owner is active user

Resolution

  1. Go to admin tools- Manage Recruiting settings and confirm  if delay emails to disqualified candidates is enabled
  2. If enabled, confirm that the job owner is active
  3. If the switch is enabled and the user is an inactive user,  reset by selecting an active user as the job owner
  4. If the job owner is active, try saving again by deselecting and then re-enable
  5. The emails should now be received by the candidates after the delay
  6. If candidate email still is not received submit a case to have support engineer check back end quartz job to confirm it is running successfully
