2301163 - Notification for job to sync Candidate profile Background Elements with Employee profile Background Elements - Recruiting Management

Symptom

This article explains the new notification that customers started receiving after the b1602 release for the sync for Candidate profile Background Elements with Employee profile Background Elements (CAND USER BG SYNC).

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) - All versions

Cause

After the release b1602, Background Elements on the Candidate Profile are being synced with User Background Elements when configured correctly, and the sync is bi-directional.
This is being done by a batch job running at the back end named Candidate User Background elements Sync
This job is generating this notification, which notifies user that the candidate profile is updated with the employee profile based on the imported/updated data.

Resolution

This email will be send every time the job runs, irrespective of the options selected.
At this time, this notification cannot be disabled.

You might notice some of the synched users with an entry "RCM Candidates not available for these User IDs", this means that this user have never "created their candidate profile". If the user navigates to the internal career page and click on my profile, the candidate profile will be created and the above entry will no longer show for that user.
