This is a KBA to identify possible issues you may encounter when attempting to add an item to an existing and ongoing Scheduled type program in the LMS.

Reproducing the Issue
- Create a Program
- Select Program 'Type' as 'Scheduled'
- Assign to user(s)
- Add section
- Add Item/SO to a section
- Save Program
- Receive Error
With Program type 'Scheduled' you may experience issues when adding Items and/or Scheduled Offerings to a section for a variety of reasons. These issues are predominantly related to the duration of the Program section; whereby the duration of the section excedes the length or the entire program, or that the Scheduled Offering time/date falls outside the time-frame of the Scheduled Program.
Additional issues may include not being able to find an item when searching via the predefined 'Add Activities' menu tabs. It is important that the item you are trying to add relates to the item type as defined in the menu provided. For example, if you trying to add a 'Blended' type item, then do so via the 'Scheduled and Online' menu tab. Searching under another tab will not allow you find a 'Blended' type item.
When attempting to add an item to a program, make sure that the section duration does not excede the duration of the program. This can be changed via the dropdown provided and even set to 'no duration' to avoid this issue entirely.
When adding a Scheduled Offering to an existing Scheduled Program, we also need to make sure that the date of the Scheduled Offering does fall outside that of the Scheduled Program or Section Duration.
In addition, to avoid any issues with not finding an item, we need to make sure we are searching for the correct item type via the types defined in the Add Activities menu tabs.
