While releasing the time sheet system throws an error message as following:

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Home work center.
- Select the Self-Services Overview.
- Select the Edit Time Sheet link.
- Update the times and select the Release button and choose Release All.
- System throws above error message.
The project purchase order is not enabled for time recording.
Steps to check the Purchase Order.
Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
Choose the Purchase Orders view.
Find and choose the Purchase Order XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the PO).
Choose Edit button.
Go to Items tab.
Choose the service assigned to the service agent.
Here you can see the Time Recording Required field is not enabled or not available, if the field is not enabled for time recording the service agent will not be able to record the time against this project system throws above error message.
Note:If the Purchase order is created from the Project Management work center the Time Recording Required field will be enabled automatically, if the you are creating standalone Purchase request and Purchase Order from the Purchase Requests and Orders work center you have to enable the Time Recording Required field explicitly.
Once the Purchase Order is released the system will not enable the selection of time Recording Required field, hence you can cancel the existing purchase order and re-create the purchase order with the time Recording Required field enabled.
