SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Admin tools > Update User Information > Import Extended User Information;
- Attach the file with data for a specific portlet;
- Select option "Import by re-loading all data with your new changes":
- Click "Import Extended User Data File";
- The imported data in other portlets, are missing.
This issue may be caused by the header of other Background/Trend Elements being included in the csv file imported.
To prevent data from being removed in your instance, the file must include only the header of the portlet you are importing data to.
For example, to import data only to the background portlet "languages", the file must contain only the header and the data for the "education" portlet:
Remove the header and data of other portlets in the csv file you are about to import. The system checks all the headers in the csv file and deletes the data for all the portlets that have the headers listed in the file with empty data.
NOTE: Leaving the existing data for the portlets you are not changing or adding new information, will also result in duplicated information for users, when using the option "Import by re-loading all data with your new changes".
