You are scanning serial numbers of your product via Mobile/Rugged Device. You see that the serial number details are not updated in the system even after scanning.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Mobile Execution work center.
- Navigate to the Select Outbound Task view.
- Search for the relevant Task ID select it and choose F5 Start Task button.
- Scan Serial Number of the relevant product.
You see that the serial number information is not updated in the system. The Open Quantity value does not reduce as well.
You will have to maintian the scanning profile for mobile device as Random Scanning to be able to scan the serial numbers.
- Go to Mobile Execution work center.
- Navigate to Common Task view and select the option Settings.
- In Logon Settings screen select profile as Random Scanning.
- Choose Save and Close button.
After performing the above steps you will be able to scan the serial numbers without any issues with your mobile device.
