Using the user import tool to have the users reactivated in the system and the users are still not able to access LMS as they already have a terminated date associated with them.
Additionally even when passing null value or blank value in the terminated date column of the User import Template, the termination date does not get removed.
Learning Management System
Reproducing the Issue
Prepare a user import file and pass null value in the terminated date column for user that already has a termination date set in the system.
You will see that though the import succeeds the termination date does not get wiped out.
Unlike connectors, the import tool will not remove the termination date if the user is being reactivated automatically.
Additionally, the system does not recognize null values that are sent via the template and these values are simply ignored.
To be able to remove the terminated date you will have to use the tag “<null>” in the template.
