Symptom
When we create a job requisition from position org chart, the DefaultLanguage is not correct. It show "United States" when this must be Mexico.
But When we create from Families and Roles, the Default Language is correct.
Environment
SuccessFactors Employee Central V2
Reproducing the Issue
For example, C is the expected default language in which we are expecing the job requistion to get created in.
B is the default locale in which the job requisition originator logs in the instance.
A is the default language mentioned in the job requisition template.
Add default language in the job requisition template, change the default language of the job requisition creator from options.
Go to Position Org Chart, create a job requisition out of an exisiting position.
Verify the language of the job requisition is created in.
Cause
There is no provision to set the default language of the job requisitons created from the position org chart.
Therefore, the default language in which the job requisition is created in will not be A or B, but C which is the default locale of SFAPI user.
Resolution
Internally the job requisition from position org chart is created by SFAPI, hence, the SFAPI user's default locale defines the default language in which the job requsition is created in.
Default Locale of the SFAPI user can be changed by performing basic import via Import Employee Data admin tool.
