2230865 - "Switchable index xxxx will not be activated (switched off)" occurs when to activate sap standard index

The accss speed to one table is slow because the corresponding index does not exist on database level. In SE11 the definition of this corresponding index exists, but with message " Index does not exist in database system".

For example, index VBFA-M01:

 

You want to create the index on database level, so you activate this index.  After that, you get the warning in the activation log:

After the activation, the index is still with "Index does not exist in database system...".
