Symptom
- In the System Monitoring UI of Solution Manager 7.1, you can see the error text "RFC Ping Failed" for the metric Instance Local RFC Availability.
- You can also receive an alert in the Alert Inbox for "ABAP Instance Not Available".
More details can be also be found in the e2emai.log logs.
