2191135 - SMP backend connectivity issue - "SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated " - SMP

Symptom

  • Application connections in SAP Mobile Platform (SMP) 3.0 SP08 are consistent but when testing with ping the Application following error is displayed:
    "Backend system cannot be reached:::Root cause:::Exception during connection execute: peer not authenticated."
  • Remove and re-add of the certificate didn't resolve the issue.
