You have created some purchase orders through migration and now you would like to add some items to it, however you are not able to do so because the option to add items is grayed out.
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center.
- Go to Purchase Orders view.
- Select and open a purchase order that was created through migration.
- Select View All.
- Go to Items tab.
- See that the option to add items is grayed out.
This is the expected behavior. When a purchase order is created using migration, it is not possible to add new items to it.
You need to add all the necessary items to the migration template before executing the migration process.
As a workaround, you can copy the migrated purchase order and then delete the original. The system will allow you to add items to the copied document.
