- Make sure SALARY and COMPENSATION_SAL_RATE_UNITS fields are correct.
- If the employee SALARY $50 (fulltime salary) x COMPENSATION_SAL_RATE_UNITS value of say 2080 then salary would be created as $104,000.
- If the employee changed to Full time SALARY $104,000 (fulltime salary) x but they failed to correct the COMPENSATION_SAL_RATE_UNITS figure from 2080 to one as it would be for fulltime, the salary would be created as $21,362,000.
- There are any number of variations between these 2 figures depending on how they factor SALARY x COMPENSATION_SAL_RATE_UNITS but the net effect is to create incorrect SALARY figures when creating compensation form.
