2055851 - Send Instant Message pop-up does not come up in Collaboration Launch Pad


  • An expected pop-up window does NOT come up after you choose and click on "Send Instant Message..." on Collaboration Launch Page - User Details screen, issue is just nothing happens although the certain user you chose is online. Symptom shown as below:

  • From server side defaulttrace you are able to find below relative error entry with below error message given:
    "'Send Instanct Message' was launched while SAP Real-Time Collaboration capabilities are disabled.. Contact your portal administrator for details."
