Symptom
This Knowledge Base Article (KBA) is part of a series of HANA Operation Recommendations.
Focus View of this KBA is on SAP HANA System Landscape Transformation (SLT)/ Landscape Transformation Server (LTR). SLT Source System can not be reached. As a consequence, end users experience that an alert has been raised and data in the target system is no longer up to date (delta replication suspended).
- SLT/LTR is used to replicate data from a source system to a target system.
- Note that in each Landscape Transormation Replication (LTR) Server configuration, the SAP LT Replication Server must be connected to a source system.
- If the source system cannot be reached an alert is raised. Typical root causes are that source system is down, or the RFC connection does not work.
- Other root causes may be that there is simply no source system defined, or that the user for the RFC connection has not got the role IUUC_REPL_REMOTE assigned.
Hint: You can view the technical name of the connection to the source system as well as the status of the connection via tool tip.
