Symptom

  • The TCP client failing to connect to the SAP Sybase IQ server sees the following error message
CT-LIBRARY error:ct_connect(): user api layer: internal Client Library error: Read from the server has timed out 
  • The following corresponding error message will be seen in the SAP Sybase IQ server log
I. 03/15 10:58:33. Connection terminated abnormally; client socket shut down


E. 03/15 10:58:33. TCP Listener shutting down (130)
