While clicking in the Register button within the UWL Administration UI for a connector whose type is WebFlowConnector, the registration fails with the following error (shown at the bottom of the screen):

(Connector) :com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.connect.ConnectorException: Tue Nov 12 19:01:29 BRST 2013
(Connector) :com.sap.portal.connectivity.destinations.PortalDestinationsServiceException: User is missing credentials for connecting to alias XXXXXXX. Contact your system administrator.
Ps.: SLRCLNTXXX will change according to the system alias being used to create the connector
IMPORTANT: Error "User is missing credentials for connecting to alias..." generally suggests that the user which is accessing the UWL does not have credentials to connect to the systems which are registered with UWL as connectors. This should be the first thing to be ensured. But it can be the case that the user has the appropriate credentials to connect to the backend systems, BUT still there are errors happening in the underlying connection mechanism from the UWL to the system relevant for the connector. For that cases, you will still have the same error message from a UWL perspective, although the root cause might be something else other than actually a missing credentials problem. This KBA explains about one of these cases.
