1930126 - TMS_BCI_START_SERVICE error despite correct scheduling


A TMS import job has been scheduled to run periodically.  The first job runs successfully, however all subsequent jobs fail with status 'canceled' with the following messages about TMS_BCI_START_SERVICE program in job log:

Automatic import job failsJob started
Step 001 started (program TMS_BCI_START_SERVICE, variant , user ID <USER>)
Program TMS_BCI_START_SERVICE does not have any selection screens
Internal error getting container, RC= 4
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

SAP Note 398589 instructions (TMS_BCI_START_SERVICE has no selection screens) have already been followed without success.
