1826133 - PI OOM Error due to high number of synchronous messages


  • Process Integration (PI) Java Server nodes restarting due to OutOfMemoryError (OOM).
  • The following error can be seen the Server trace files: Process shutting down with exit code [666]; memory allocation error [OutOfMemoryError].
  • The following suspects are reported in the Eclipse Memory Analyzer tool (MAT).

One instance of ""loaded by "" occupies <number of bytes> (#%) bytes. The memory is accumulated in one instance of "java.util.HashMap$Entry[]" loaded by "<system class loader>".
