1533471 - Unable to Delete a Service Line Item in a Released Project

You as a Project Manager, want to delete a Service line item in a released Project but the Delete button is disabled or

You are unable to assign a service to the employee in project since the Service field is not enabled or

You are unable to delete an assigned Service from project ,because the Delete button is grayed out or

You want to change the Team Member assigned to a Service in the Work tab of a Project but the Team Member and Service field is grayed out and data cannot be changed

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management workcenter.
2. Select Projects view.
3. Select the Project (Status: Released).
4. Select Edit button and choose Project Plan option.
5. Go to Work sub-tab.
6. Select a line item (Service line item).
7. Delete button is disabled.

It is not possible to delete the service line item

or

assign a service to an employee

or

change the Team Member assignment for a Service of any released project,

Cause actual work is not zero or  there are purchase orders or purchase requests existing.

You have to cancel the actual time confirmations and purchase requests  or purchase orders if any and then the Delete button will be enabled .
