1206300 - Unable to change the font size of the X-axis label in a Numeric Axis chart

Symptom

In Crystal Reports XI Release 2, the font size of the X-axis label in a Numeric Axis chart is not able to change.

The following workflow is performed in the Designer:
  1. Click Blank report in the Start Page. Double-click ODBC (RDO) in the Database Export.
  2. Click Data Source Name (for example, Xtreme Sample Database 11.5). Click Finish.
  3. Expand Table. Click the Orders table > input arrow to move it to the Selected Tables > OK.
  4. Click Chart... from the Insert menu > Report Header.
  5. Click the Type tab in the Chart Expert window.
  6. Click Numeric Axis > Numeric axis bar chart in the right side pane > Data tab.
  7. Click Employee ID > On change of.
  8. Click Order Amount > Show value(s) > OK.
  9. Right-click the X axis label > click Format Axis Label....
  10. Set the font size in the Format Axis Labels dialog to 16. Click OK.

When the report is refreshed, the font does not change. Crystal Reports 2008 has the same behavior.

Cause

The issue has been identified and tracked under ID ADAPT00525503.


NOTE

When a Track ID has been assigned to an issue, this indicates it has been reported to Business Objects for possible inclusion in future hot fixes or file updates. Refer to the list of Track IDs that accompanies a hot fix or file update to verify that a particular issue has been corrected.

Resolution

At the publication time of this article, there is no available workaround.
