2052561 - Crystal Add in Error in Crystal Report

You have installed Crystal Reports and you want to use the Crystal Reports Add-In to edit the formatted reports of Business ByDesign.

When you log in to Crystal Reports, you receive an error. For example:

A serious error has occurred. Report an case.

ERROR: Proxy is active, specify its Settings.

As a part of our commitment to meet the highest security and technology standards we have decided to disable the TLSv1.0 protocol. Unfortunately, the add-in versions for Crystal we are currently supporting are not enabled for TLS versions 1.1 and higher.

We have to deprecate and remove the related add-ins for Crystal 2008 and 2011 from our Download Area in SAP Business ByDesign. This Add-In cannot currently be supported.

Nevertheless, we are currently upgrading our add-in to Crystal 2016, which is also enabled for newer TLS versions. This is planned to be delivered with a future release.

In the meantime, we recommend considering Excel to fulfill formatting reporting requirements.
